PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION FOR AN OPTICAL FILM

PURPOSE: An adhesive composition is provided to effectively coat even in state comprising a large amount of solid phase, to extremely increase productivity of an optical film for a polarizer, and to able to provide an excellent adhesive with excellent reliability and reworkability, etc. CONSTITUTION: An adhesive composition comprises 2.5-5.5 parts by weight of a hydroxy group-containing monomer and 0.05-0.3 parts by weight of a carboxy group-containing monomer as polymerization units, and comprises an acrylic polymer of which average molecular weight is 700,000-1,200,000 and a polyfunctional crosslinking agent. A coating solid content of the composition is 20 weight% or more. A gel fraction after crosslinking reaction is 55-85%. The hydroxyl group-containing monomer is hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate or hydroxyalkyleneglycol (meth)acrylate.
