PURPOSE: A solenoid valve for a brake system is provided to reduce manufacturing costs and facilitate manufacturing and assembling by simplifying the structure. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve(10) for a brake system comprises a sleeve(12), a magnet core, an armature(14), and a seat housing(15). The magnet core generates electromagnetic force to reciprocate the armature along the inner surface of the sleeve. The armature comprises a shim core(20) to prevent the generation of residual electromagnetic force. The shim core is projected more than the armature and contacted with a ball contacted with an orifice(17). The armature and the shim core are formed through dual injection molding. The seat housing forms inlet and outlet flow passages.
