PURPOSE: A method for providing a rhythm game, a terminal thereof, and a recording medium thereof are provided to increase interest for the game by including an attack mode and a defense mode. CONSTITUTION: A display control unit(110) controls the display of notes in a game screen according to note pattern information inputted for an attack. A touch signal input unit(120) inputs a touch signal for note manipulation for defending against the attack. A determining unit(130) determines a grade or accuracy of the note manipulation. An attack designating unit inputs the note pattern information by extracting the same from note pattern information pre-stored in a memory.
