CNT CATHODE ASSEMBLY AND ELECTRON BEAM GENERATING APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A CNT(Carbon Nano Tube) cathode assembly and electron beam radiating apparatus including the same are provided to prevent the formation of a protrusion by forming a grid in parallel with a cathode. CONSTITUTION: A cathode(11) is comprised of CNT material. A grid support part(13) accepts the cathode. A wire grid(12) is wound around the circumference of the grid support part several times. A guide groove is formed at the outer circumference of the grid support part. The wire grid forms a plane which is parallel to the grid support part. The wire grid contains tungsten. A fluorescent body layer is formed on a screen in order to detect an electron emitted from cathode assembly.
