<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold assembly for injection molding which prevents a molten resin material from being solidified by securing the fluidity of the molten resin material in a cold runner to be used together with a hot runner, and also, exhibits excellent maintainability. <P>SOLUTION: This mold assembly for injection molding includes a runner sleeve 12 functioning as a hot runner and a cold runner 4 which is arranged in series connection with the extended runner sleeve 12 and extends between a flash line 18 of dividing blocks 16 and 17 of the core block side and a flash line 20 of the cavity block 2 side. A heat insulating layer 23 is formed in a groove part 19 where the cold runner 4 is formed.
