<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for performing imaging with a dynamic range considering a subject and a night view. <P>SOLUTION: When an image is determined to be the night view with a person, first imaging processing for reducing imaging sensitivity compared to that required for obtaining a target luminance level which is set, imaging a still image and applying gradation correction for compensating a reduction amount of the imaging sensitivity for the imaged image is performed. When an image is determined to be the night view without a person, second imaging processing for applying the gradation correction to reduce an increase rate of output luminance with respect to an increase rate of an input luminance value to the imaged image is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
