[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the amount of leakage of sealed fluid and to align the axes of a floating ring and a rotating shaft. [Solution] A seal device is provided with a floating ring between the outer periphery of a rotating shaft and the inner periphery of a casing. The seal device is characterized by comprising dynamic pressure generation grooves arranged in the circumferential direction and extending in the opposite directions, and the grooves cause sealed fluid, which tries to leak to the inner peripheral surface of the floating ring, to be pushed back to the upstream side. |
