Provided is an apparatus for manufacturing a disposable wearing article, the apparatus capable of eliminating constraints on control of an arm member and factors that limit acceleration of operating speed caused by the conventional placement of the arm member. From the view point above a straight line (Lst) which passes through the center of the width direction of a lower end part (125a) of an insertion hole (125) and which is parallel to an arm rotation axis (123), the center of the width direction of the lower end part (125a) of the insertion hole (125) is positioned on one side relative to a nip line (Ln) which indicates a position in which a peripheral surface (131A) of a press roll (130A) and a peripheral surface (131B) of a press roll (130B) are in closest proximity, for both a central position (Pc) when the arm member (121) is not swinging and a swing end (Pe) when the arm member (121) swings the most. |
