A computing unit (15) measures the elapsed time every time a pickup (9b) detects a tooth. When fuel is injected with reference to the latest tooth number detected by the pickup (9b) from the computing result of the fuel injection timing, the interval from the detection of a tooth numbered 6 by the pickup (9b) to the start of fuel injection is calculated. A driving circuit (10) opens an electromagnetic valve (4) at the timing when the elapsed time becomes equal to the interval, and injects fuel from an injector (3) to a cylinder on the basis of the computing result stored in a storage unit (16).
