<p>[Problem] To provide a measurement device for optically measuring by using a sensor chip provided with a micro-channel for the passage of a specimen solution, the device being capable of easily removing blood cells from whole blood without causing hemolysis, and supplying the blood cells to a sensor unit. [Solution] A measurement device for measuring a substance to be detected that could be included in a specimen solution, by using a sensor chip (10) provided with a micro-channel (11) that is inside a channel member (12), causes a specimen solution to pass therethrough, and has a sensor unit (14) positioned in a section of the interior thereof, wherein: a recess (11a) is provided so as to form a recessed section in the channel wall of the channel member (12), at a location on the upstream side of the channel from the sensor unit (14); a piezoelectric element (40) is positioned at a location facing the bottom of the recess (11a); a stationary ultrasonic wave (S) is generated between the ultrasonic-wave-projecting surface of the piezoelectric element (40) and the bottom of the recess (11a); and the blood cells (H) in the specimen solution accumulate in the nodal section of the stationary ultrasonic wave (S).</p> |
