PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for arranging a novel nanocrystal for arranging the nanocrystal on the substrate.

SOLUTION: The method for arranging the nanocrystal includes a first step of inputting a barium titanate nanocrystal and/or a strontium titanate nanocrystal and a nonpolar solvent into a container, a second step of collecting a supernatant solution containing the barium titanate nanocrystal and/or the strontium titanate nanocrystal from the container, and a third step of immersing one end of the substrate in the supernatant solution and arranging the nanocrystal on the substrate by allowing the supernatant solution to wet and spread above the substrate by utilizing capillarity.
