<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain power supply not only to source devices but also to cables or repeaters connecting the devices concerning a power supply system from sink devices to the source devices. <P>SOLUTION: A physical address to be obtained from information of an extended display identification data (EDID) storage part 213 is the basis of a consumer electronics control (CEC) message exchange, but the physical address of a cable or repeater 32 overlaps that of a source device 11 or is unknown. The cable or repeater 32 changes the kind of a message while using the same physical address as that of the source device (1) or uses a message where physical address information of the source device is described in an argument of the message by using an unknown physical address (2). The message with the supply or reception current of each device described therein is exchanged with a sink device 21 or the source device 11, thereby to perform current reception adjustment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
