<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter cleaning device which has excellent cleaning property of an auxiliary roller and alleviates a load on a driving mechanism from the auxiliary roller, and to provide an air conditioner including the same. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes: a cleaning part for cleaning a filter 7; and a moving part for moving the filter 7 to the cleaning part along a guiding path 35. The moving part includes a filter driving gear that meshes with a rack formed in the filter 7 and moves the filter 7. The cleaning part includes: a cleaning member 50 for removing dust from the filter 7; an auxiliary roller 42 rotatably provided around a shaft at a position facing the cleaning member 50, and pinching the filter 7 between the cleaning member 50; and an auxiliary member driving mechanism for rotating the auxiliary roller 42. The auxiliary member driving mechanism brings the auxiliary roller 42 into contact with the filter 7 so that the auxiliary roller 42 can rotate around the shaft using the moving force of the filter 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
