<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rotation angle detection device to be used for detecting a rotation angle of a steering of an automobile, using a reduced number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: A connector part 20A is formed integrally with a cover 20. The connector part 20A has a substantially box shape opened externally with a terminal 21 penetrating through a side wall part 20B from the inside to the outside. A wiring board 17 is connected to a connection part 21A of the inside terminal 21.
