<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise by warning pedestrians of the start of a vehicle only at the first start in one ignition cycle on the assumption that the vehicle starts from a parked state. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle start warning device includes: a warning means for warning pedestrians outside the vehicle of the start of the vehicle; an ignition state detecting means for detecting a state of an ignition switch; and a control means that allows the warning means to warn of the start of vehicle when a warning condition is established after the ignition state detecting means detects a state change from ignition-off to ignition-on, cancels the warning to be issued by the warning means, when the set cancellation condition is established, and prevents the warning means from warning of the start of vehicle until the ignition state detecting means once detects ignition-off after the cancellation even if the warning condition is established. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
