<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve shaft end lubricating structure for improving a lubricating state of the valve shaft end driven by a rocker arm. <P>SOLUTION: This valve shaft end lubricating structure of an engine 1 includes a valve 110 having a stem 112 projecting upward from a valve element 111, a camshaft 130 forming a cam surface 131 for driving the valve, the rocker arm 140 rockably arranged around a rotary shaft 141 and having a cam abutting part 143 abutting on the cam surface 131 and a valve abutting part 144a abutting on a stem upper end part 113 of the valve, a rocker cover 160 arranged above the rocker arm, and oil galleries 161, 162 and 163 formed in the rocker cover and supplying lubricating oil to a higher position than the valve abutting part in an upper surface part of the rocker arm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
