<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation measuring system which dispenses an assigned staff from visiting a home and enables insulation deterioration due to various causes such as weather to be remotely ascertained. <P>SOLUTION: An insulation measuring system has a communication unit 21 for transmitting/receiving data to/from a communication network NW and uses a smart meter 20 installed in a residence A. The insulation measuring system comprises: a live-wire insulation measuring unit 23 for measuring a leakage current of a live wire in an application unit which supplies electricity to electrical wiring of the residence A; a monitoring control unit 24 for, on receiving a measurement instruction from the communication network NW, controlling the communication unit 21 to transmit measurement data indicating the leakage current measured by the live-wire insulation measuring unit 23 to the communication network NW; and a safety device 10 for, on receiving the measurement data from the communication unit 21 via the communication network NW after transmitting the measurement instruction to the communication network NW, determining a degree of insulation deterioration by comparing a preset specified value and the leakage current indicated by the measurement data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
