Provided is a pneumatic tire for heavy loads that both suppresses uneven wear and improves durability with respect to cracking of tire siping and block chipping. The pneumatic tire is characterized in that a tread part is formed by a rubber composition containing 30-70 pbw of carbon black, 1.0-10.0 pbw of a thermosetting resin, and 0.5-10.0 pbw of a curing agent with respect to 100 pbw of at least one type of diene rubber selected from natural rubber, polyisoprene rubber, and polybutadiene rubber, wherein the carbon black has a nitrogen-adsorption specific surface area of 60m2/g or higher, the thermosetting resin is a cresol resin and/or a resorcinol resin, or a cashew-modified phenolic resin and/or a phenolic resin, and the curing agent is at least one type selected from hexamethylenetetramine, hexamethoxymethylmelamine, and pentamethoxymethylmelamine. |
