A navigation device provided with: a deterioration coefficient determining unit which determines a deterioration coefficient which indicates the deterioration state of a battery which supplies drive power to a vehicle; a current position calculation unit which calculates the current position of the vehicle; a surroundings map display unit which displays, on a display screen, a map of the surroundings of the current position of the vehicle; a travelable distance calculation unit which calculates a first travelable distance of the vehicle on the basis of the battery's remaining capacity and the full charge capacity which is the charge capacity of the battery when fully charged, said remaining capacity and full charge capacity being included in the charging information received at the battery; a second travelable distance calculation unit which calculates a second travelable distance which is lower than the first travelable distance on the basis of the deterioration coefficient and the first travelable distance; and a travelable distance display unit which displays, on the surroundings map, a predetermined display indicating the second travelable distance.
