The machine (1) has piston connecting rod bearings (19,20) and crankshaft connecting rod bearings (22,23) that are supplied with lubrication medium through a lubricant reservoir. The gear wheels (27,28) of a gear box (26) located between the crankshafts (24,25) are surrounded by a lubricant-free shaft gear box space (29) so as to ensure a lubricant-free connection of the teeth portions (33,34) in the gear wheels. The gear wheels of the gear box are made of plastic material.
