<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an ink set for inkjet recording, that can suppress color breeding even when printing with black pigment ink is performed on a solid image made by color pigment ink, that does not cause curling or ink strike-through even when printing is performed on plain paper, that is excellent in discharge stability and that gives excellent image quality; and an ink cartridge using the ink set; an inkjet recording method; an inkjet recording device; and an ink recorded matter. <P>SOLUTION: In the ink set for inkjet recording, the color ink contains a water-soluble dye, a water-soluble organic solvent represented by a structural formula (1), and water, where the ratio (S/W) of the content (S) of the water-soluble organic solvent and the content (W) of the water is 1.6<S/W≤3.5; and the black ink contains colored polymer emulsion particles, a surface active agent, the water-soluble organic solvent, and water, where the ratio (S/W) of the content (S) of the water-soluble organic solvent and the content (W) of the water is 1≤S/W≤1.6.
