<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a guidance to rationally consume energy by objectively comparing an energy consumption tendency of each user with energy consumption tendencies of other users from a variety of side views and saving energy more actively. <P>SOLUTION: An energy consumption tendency of each energy user is compared with energy consumption tendencies of other users. For the purpose, energy use information on each energy user and comparison conditions (the size of a house, the number of members of a family, an energy consumption area, etc.) are gathered, and an energy consumption tendency of each energy user is compared with energy consumption tendencies of other users in similar lifestyle environment. Various statistic information for the comparison is provided through an IHD (In Home Display) installed in each home.
