<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for controlling image displaying in accordance with the state of a viewer who views a three-dimensional image by using spectacles. <P>SOLUTION: When the inclination angle of spectacles 200 is within a predetermined range, an image display device 100 alternately displays a left-eye image 101L and a right-eye image 101R. When the inclination angle of the spectacles 200 exceeds the predetermined range, the image display device 100 prevents the switching of the left-eye image 101L and the right-eye image 101R. For example, the image display device 100 displays a two-dimensional image. Optical shutters 201, 202 of the spectacles 200 synchronize with the left-eye image 101L and the right-eye image 101R. When the image display device 100 prevents the switching of the left-eye image 101L and the right-eye image 101R, both of the optical shutters 201, 202 are opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
