<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a frequency peak corresponding to the frequency of a switching clock from being erroneously detected as an object in a radar device. <P>SOLUTION: A radar system comprises: a radar device for transmitting and receiving radar waves (continuous waves) and generating object information based on the result obtained by sampling a beat signal generated by mixing reception signals of the radar signals with transmission signals of the radar waves and performing Fourier transform (normally, FFT); and an electric power supply for supplying power to the radar device. In the radar system, a sampling frequency fs of the beat signal BS is set such that a frequency which is higher than the upper limit frequency (namely, high limit frequency fb max1) of a frequency band specified for detecting the object becomes a Nyquist frequency f<SB POS="POST">N</SB>. In addition to this, a switching frequency fsw in the electric power supply is preset to a frequency within any one of a specified band and a turn-around band. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
