<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability while controlling change of rotating speed of a driving source according to the relative displacement of the driving source and a handle. <P>SOLUTION: In a portable working machine, a handle part that the operator has and the engine that is the driving source are connected through a coil spring, and the rotating speed of the engine is changed by a throttle rod 46 being moved back and forth.
