<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal packing machine capable of fixation and release of the association between the discharge side conveyor of a crossing device and the heater block of an end seal device, in simple construction, and includes the end seal device facilitating the cleaning of a heater seal face. <P>SOLUTION: The horizontal packaging machine has such a structure that associates the opening and shutting of the end seal device with the advance and retreat of the crossing device by fixing an association device provided with a groove cam to the ramp of the lower heater block of the end seal device and engaging a cam follower, which is provided in the association lever of the discharge side carrying conveyor of the crossing device with the groove cam, and it cuts off the top of the groove cam thereby opening it, and enabling the arranged association lever of the cam follower to turn upward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
