<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dummy plug capable of being inserted up to a predetermined position in a waterproof connector with a small contact array pitch, without consideration for a direction of a locking head. <P>SOLUTION: A dummy plug comprises a plug body 71 that is inserted into a seal hole of a wire seal corresponding to a cavity serving as an empty chamber without insertion of a contact in a waterproof connector, and a locking head 75 that continues into the plug body 71 and that is formed at a back head in the insertion direction of the dummy plug 70. A slot 77 is formed in the dummy plug 70. The slot 77 is formed along an axial direction of the dummy plug 70, from the top of the locking head 75 to a predetermined position of a large-diameter part 73. The slot 77 is provided so that right and left radial parts (serving as second and first beam parts L2 and L1) of the large-diameter part 73 and the locking head 75, which sandwich the slot 77, can function as cantilever beams. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
