<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a fryer into a compact size. <P>SOLUTION: In the fryer that fries an object to be fried with oil while carrying the food along an oil tank wherein oil is stored, a forward-path-side oil tank and a backward-path-side oil tank are disposed in parallel, and also a U-turn mechanism for making the object to be fried do a U-turn from the forward-path-side oil tank to the backward-path-side oil tank is interposed between the forward-path-side and backward-path-side oil tanks. In the U-turn mechanism, the center of a carrying flow path for making the food do the U-turn in a semicircular arc a support shaft is provided with a spindle, the spindle is provided with a driving body so as to be rotatable and elevatable, and the driving body is provided with a carrying vane body for carrying the food along the carrying flow path. The mechanism is so constituted that the carrying vane body is made to rotate while descending from the forward-path-side oil tank toward the backward-path-side oil tank by making the driving body do a reciprocating rotating motion and an elevating motion and then ascending and also made to rotate while ascending from the backward-path-side oil tank toward the forward-path-side oil tank and then descending. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
