This stereoscopic display device includes: a stereoscopic display unit (13) that displays an instruction-providing stereoscopic image; a touch sensor (16) arranged on the display screen of the stereoscopic display unit (13); a spatial sensor (17) that detects the distance between an indicator (the finger, a touch pen, or the like) and the display surface of the stereoscopic display unit (13) or the touch surface of the touch sensor (16); a control unit (30) that reduces the disparity amount of the instruction-providing stereoscopic image in accordance with the reduction in said distance detected by the spatial sensor (17); and a three-dimensional image processing unit (12) that displays the instruction-providing stereoscopic image on the stereoscopic display unit (13) at the disparity amount determined by the control unit (30).
