In order to provide a white-colored reflection film for an edge-light type backlight, wherein brightness and brightness unevenness can be improved, uneven adherence to a light-guiding plate and damage to the light-guiding plate can be prevented, and crushing of protrusions formed on at least one side of the white-colored reflection film can be alleviated, the white-colored reflection film for an edge-light type backlight was made so as to satisfy the following conditions (i) to (iii). (i) The rigidity thereof is 2-10 mN·m. (ii) Protrusions are formed on at least one side (A) thereof, and the maximum height of the protrusions is 5-60 µm. (iii) The protrusions contain aromatic polyester.
