The present invention provides a configuration facilitating basic setting for eliminating noise in a scanning molecule counting method using optical measurement by a confocal microscope or a multiphoton microscope. A photometric analysis technique for detecting light of light-emitting particles in a sample solution according to the present invention generates time series light intensity data of light from a light detection region detected while moving the position of the light detection region in the sample solution by changing a light path of an optical system of a microscope, and individually detects signals of the light-emitting particles in the time series light intensity data. In the detection of the signals of the light-emitting particles, signals having the light intensity within a light intensity range set on the basis of a signal occurrence frequency integrated value distribution that is a distribution of integrated values of the frequency of occurrence of signals having the intensity of at least a variable employed by defining the intensity of the signals as the variable are extracted as the signals of the light-emitting particles. |
