<p>The present invention provides an image display apparatus which enables a user to conveniently and efficiently view an image provided from a mobile terminal in a vehicle by detecting image feature information from the image provided from a mobile terminal, extracting a feature region on the basis of the image feature information, automatically enlarging or reducing the extracted feature region, and displaying the enlarged or reduced feature region. To this end, the image display apparatus according to one embodiment is an image display apparatus provided in a vehicle, including: a communication unit for receiving images from a mobile terminal; a control unit which detects image feature information of the received image, extracts a first region on the basis of the detected image feature information, determines an image processing method for the extracted first region on the basis of the image feature information corresponding to the extracted first region, and processes the images corresponding to the extracted first region on the basis of the determined image processing method; and a display unit for displaying the processed image.</p> |
