<p>The present invention is an optical information recording medium (10) comprising: a plurality of recording layers (14); and intermediate layers (15) provided between each of the plurality of recording layers (14). In the optical information recording medium (10), a first intermediate layer (15A) and a second intermediate layer (15B) having mutually different refractive indexes are disposed in mutually alternating fashion with a single recording layer (14) disposed therebetween; ((n3 - n1)/(n3 + n1))2 = 0.001 is satisfied, where n1 is the refractive index of the recording layer (14), and n3 is the refractive index of the second intermediate layer (15B); and a recording beam RB is emitted, the recording layer (14) absorbs the recording beam and generates heat, and the interface (reflective interface 18A) between the recording layer 14 and the first intermediate layer (15A) adjacent to the recording layer deforms, whereby information (recording spot M) is recorded.</p> |
