<p>Provided is a eyelet attachment device (30) whereby the cutting of a cloth (1) by the tip (11a) of the post (11) of an eyelet body (10) when attaching the eyelet to the cloth is easy and reliable. The eyelet attachment device (30) is provided with: an upper die (31) that causes the eyelet body (10) to be held; and a lower die (40) on which a washer (20, 50) is placed. The lower die (40) contains: a cylindrical shaft (41); and a tubular sleeve (45, 60) that encircles the shaft (41). The shaft (41) receives the tip (11a) of the post (11) of the eyelet body (10), and has at the top a ring-shaped inclined surface (42b) for bending the post (11) outwards in the radial direction. The shaft (41) and sleeve (45, 60) can each be independently elastically displaced downwards by being pressed from the upper die (31) side when attaching the eyelet body (10) and washer (20, 50) to the cloth (1), and when the shaft (41) is displaced downwards, the cloth (1) is cut by the tip (11a) of the post (11) of the eyelet body (10).</p> |
