<p>Provided is an absorbent article for pets that can reduce the catching of the hairs of the pet when the absorbent article is placed on the pet. This absorbent article (1) for pets is equipped with a front surface layer (2), a back surface layer (3), and an absorbent body (4). The absorbent article (1) is formed in a rectangular shape having an opposing first end portion (11) and second end portion (12), and a pair of opposing side portions (17) that are perpendicular to the first end portion (11) and second end portion (12). When the absorbent article (1) is wrapped around the waist of a pet, the front surface layer (2) side of the first end portion (11) is arranged on the body of the pet, and the front surface layer (2) side of the second end portion (12) is detachably attached to the back surface layer (3) side of the first end portion (11). The absorbent article (1) is also equipped with: a rectangular engaging member (7) that is arranged on the back surface layer (3) side of the first end portion (11), and the longitudinal direction of which extends along the width direction of the absorbent article (1); and a pair of folding line portions (8) that are formed on the first end portion (11), and that are the point on the first end portion (11) from which the pair of opposing side portions (17) begin to curve towards the front surface layer (2) side.</p> |
