The present invention discloses a database backing-up and recovering method and device, which includes: an old version database is backed-up, wherein a table structure of the old version database is saved; records in all the tables in a new version database are cleared, and a table structure of the new version database is obtained; the table structure of the old version database is compared with the table structure of the new version database, and changes of the table structure are determined; according to change type and corresponding preset strategy, the backup of the old version database is recovered to the new version database. The present invention realizes the forward compatibility of the database backup recovery. |
