<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic amount estimation device, a computer program, and a traffic amount estimation method capable of estimating traffic amount in the future with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A travel time calculation part 104 calculates a statistic value of travel time for respective links. An upstream link determination part 105 determines one or more upstream links of which travel time to a target link is almost equal to a predetermined time on the basis of information on a road network. A ratio calculation part 107 calculates, on the basis of a destination of a plurality of vehicles that have passed through the determined upstream link, a ratio of vehicles passing through the target link to vehicles passing through the upstream link. A traffic amount estimation part 108 estimates, using traffic amount of the upstream link and the calculated ratio, traffic amount of the target link after a predetermined time by combining traffic amount of the target link calculated for respective upstream links. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
