摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a high-contrast electrophoretic display device in which: filling with electrophoretic ink can be uniformly performed without air bubbles; a space between electrode substrates can be kept uniform; particle contamination into an adhesive is suppressed without causing display spots; and the substrate can be prevented from peeling. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrophoretic display device 30 comprises the steps of: forming a plurality of cells 15, 15... including insulation structures 16, 16... on a first electrode substrate 10; filling a cell with an electrophoretic ink precursor A including one or more kinds of electrophoretic particles and two or more kinds of solvents with different boiling points; removing one or more kinds of solvents from the electrophoretic ink precursor A; removing the electrophoretic particles on the upper surfaces of the structures; filling the cell with an electrophoretic ink precursor B without including the particles; bonding the first electrode substrate and a second electrode substrate 20; and dispersing the electrophoretic particles in the electrophoretic ink precursor A into the electrophoretic ink precursor B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
