<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer in which problems occurring due to continuous lighting of UV irradiation means can be avoided. <P>SOLUTION: The printer comprises a discharge head 49 which moves relatively to a substrate 1 and discharges droplets of liquid that is cured with active light, an irradiation unit 48 provided on the rear side in the relative movement direction with respect to the discharge head 49 and irradiates the droplets on the substrate 1 with active light, and a control unit 14 which controls the irradiation unit 48 to go out upon elapsing of a predetermined time after irradiation unit 48 starts the lighting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
