<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a cache of a node more efficient in a storage system. <P>SOLUTION: A storage system in the invention comprises: multiple storage processing devices for using a content address to execute deduplication processing; a cache memory that is used when applying predetermined processing to a file; and an owner node selection part for transmitting a preset content address, which shows a storage location of split data constituting a specific file to be managed by the own device, to other storage processing devices, for requesting the other storage processing devices for cache memory condition information that shows conditions of storing the split data to be specified by the content address in the cache memories of the other storage processing devices, and for selecting a storage processing device to manage the specific file, based on the cache memory condition information acquired from the other storage processing devices. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
