<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular liquid pressure generating device having a reaction creating means that can reduce the irregularity of set loads. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular braking force generating device includes a liquid pressure generating means which generates a liquid pressure in response to an operation by a user, and a reaction creating means (stroke simulator 64 ) which communicates with the liquid pressure generating means to create reaction. The reaction creating means has a simulator piston (piston member) 68 which operates in accordance with the pressure of a liquid delivered out of the liquid pressure generating means, a second return spring (spring member) 66b which comes in contact with the piston member to create reaction.
