The application relates to a device for storage and supply of lancets (10) for taking samples of body fluids, wherein the device comprises a lancet magazine (3) with a lancet storage unit (11) for a plurality of needle-shaped lancets, and with a drive unit (2) for performing a puncturing procedure with a lancet, and a recovery unit (9) is present which, after the puncturing procedure has been performed, returns the lancet from the puncturing position to its rest position.
