The invention relates to an assembly of a door or a window of a building, comprising a pivot element, a frame on which the pivot element is arranged such as to pivot about a pivot axis, and a motor drive device, which acts between the pivot element and the frame such as to pivot the pivot element relative to the frame and which, due to a spindle drive, is designed with a spindle extending along a longitudinal axis and a spindle nut that is in thread engagement with the spindle. The spindle drive is arranged in a positionally fixed manner along the longitudinal axis on the one pivot element and frame. In such an assembly, the spindle drive (3) comprises a push rod (31) that extends along the longitudinal axis (L) and that, driven by a movement of the spindle (32) relative to the spindle nut (310), can be displaced on the one pivot element (1, 1') and frame (2, 2') along the longitudinal axis (L) and is coupled to the other pivot element (1, 1') and frame (2, 2') via a joint rod (303) that is articulated to the push rod (31) such as to pivot the pivot element (2, 2') relative to the frame (1, 1') by a displacement of the push rod (31). Thus, an assembly of a door or a window of a building is provided, which has a simple construction and reliable force transmission and allows to forgo the use of clearly visible levers protruding from the plane of a pivot element.
