CATHETER CAPABLE OF TIP-BENDING

A catheter capable of tip-bending equipped with: a catheter tube (10) with a flexible tip portion (15); a tip electrode (20) fixed to the tip of the catheter tube (10); operating wires (31, 32) for bending the flexible tip portion (15) of the catheter tube (10) that extend inside the catheter tube (10) and the back ends of which can be pulled; and operation tubes (41, 42) disposed inside the flexible tip portion along the axial direction of the catheter tube (10) and having spaces for inserting the respective operating wires (31, 32) to move freely in the axial direction. The operation tube (41) and the operation tube (42) each are divided into a tip end partial tube and a back end partial tube. This catheter that is capable of tip-bending can change the shape of the tip portion of the catheter to a smoothly curving shape that does not have kinks in the middle by the pulling of an operating wire.
