<p>A PWM-input separately-excited class-D amplifier system takes a digital signal as input, and is thus less likely to be affected by noise in comparison to when an analog signal is the input as in the past. Further, in the present invention, since a ramp wave synchronized with a PWM signal is used in the comparison clock, the PWM and reference clock will not cause beating, and the class-D amplifier system will have a good S/N ratio. Further, there is the advantage of beat noise not being generated even in a set mounted near a radio reception unit, since the external clock can be made variable.</p> |
