The auxiliary device has a frame for fixing the wind instrument (1), where the frame on one side has a receptacle part (5) for the trumpet bell (7) of the wind instrument and on the other side has another receptacle part (6) for the mouth pipe (8) of the wind instrument. One of the receptacle parts is arranged adjustably on frame transverse to the connecting lines between both the receptacle parts and a receptacle part is arranged on a rotary gear (9). The axis (10) of the rotary gear is aligned parallel to longitudinal extension of the clamped wind instrument.
