The interaction method of converged communication provided in the embodiments comprises: a Widget unit, which is associated with at least a virtual user in a converged communication unit, suspendingly displayed in a main display interface is established; the Widget unit receives the associated virtual user's communication information which is sent to the Widget unit via the converged communication unit; according to a information type of the communication information, the Widget unit sends out a prompt signal corresponding to the information type; the Widget unit receives a response instruction from the user on the prompt signal and triggers a response policy corresponding to the response instruction. The embodiments can be used in a converged communication system.
