<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find an apparatus whose IP address has been changed to manage it again. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus management device 10 performs following steps; determining whether or not each of one or a plurality of printers 20 whose IP addresses are stored respectively is activated based on response from the stored IP address for the printer 20; selecting a network from which a printer 20 determined not to be activated is retrieved, based on a network address included in an IP address managed by each of the printers 20; retrieving an IP address whose physical address acquired from the IP address matches a physical address of the retrieving printer 20, among IP addresses included in the selected network; and updating the IP address stored in the retrieving printer 20 to the retrieved IP address. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
