<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of performing display with a wide color reproduction range and displaying bright red. <P>SOLUTION: A display device is a display device such as a liquid crystal display device (LCD), a cathode ray tube (CRT), an organic electroluminescent display device (OELD), a plasma display panel (PDP), a field emission display (FED), where a display screen is constituted of a pixel having sub-pixels of red, green, blue, and yellow.
