<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow stable tracking of a matter even in an environment in which plural shielding matters are seen overlapped. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus which detects a tracking target from an image and tracks the tracking target comprises: determination means which when the tracking target cannot be detected, determines whether the tracking target is shielded by a matter; extraction means which when the determination means determines that the tracking target is shielded by a matter, extracts the area of the matter and the area of a matter overlapping with the matter from the image; and setting means which associates the areas extracted by the extraction means and on the basis of the associated areas, sets an area in which the tracking target appears next. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
